The 2022 event promises to be even bigger.
Mark your calendar today!

Our 2021 Light the Darkness National Simulcast brought together Christian artists, advocates, survivors, and shelter providers and reached over 9,000 people nationwide. Together with Southeast Christian Church, The Samaritan Women is hosting this event again on January 26, 2022 and we are inviting you to be a part.

The purpose of the simulcast is to share the good news of how the faithful are engaged in anti-trafficking and victim care, and to invite others into the work. So far we have these exciting voices contributing:

Secretary
Ben Carson

Congressman
Madison Cawthorn

Here’s how you can be a part:

  • Host a Watch Party. Organize your volunteers, donors, friends to gather and watch the simulcast together. Make it a fund-raiser for your organization!
  • Suggest a Speaker. The simulcast is 4-hours of packed content, but we still have room for more speakers. Please suggest notable voices you think should be included.
  • Contribute content. Record a 1-3 minute video about your agency.
Give us a tour of your shelter home. Tell the world what new ways you are serving and expanding.
  • Help Promote. Download the social media and promotional assets from our Light the Darkness page and help us promote the event in your community.
  • Pray for Favor. Start now in praying that this simulcast will be used for God’s glory as an inspiration to His people to do His work.

If you plan to be a part of Light the Darkness 2022, contact Linda Thomas to let her know how you will participate and we will send you more resources to help your efforts.
