2022 Light the Darkness Simulcast

The Samaritan Women and Southeast Christian Church is co-hosting a national showcase of speakers, advocates, and service providers committed to serving victims of domestic human trafficking. In 2021 we reached more than 9,000 people across the country and raised awareness of the lack of services available to survivors. The 2022 event promises to be even bigger.

Join The Samaritan Women – Institute for Shelter Care as we celebrate Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month.

Join others across the country who are participating. Sign-up to let us know you are going to watch and/or host a watch party and we will add you to the map!

Here’s how you can be a part:

  • Host a Watch Party. Organize your church, small group, family or friends to gather and watch the simulcast together. Make it a fund-raiser for your local shelter! Click here
  • Help Promote. Download the social media assets and help promote Human Trafficking Awareness in January and the event to your community, church congregation and on social media.
  • Sponsor. Sponsorships are available at various giving levels. Use this as an opportunity to promote your organization, company email info@thesamaritanwomen.org for details
  • Pray for Favor. Start now – praying that this simulcast will be used for God’s glory as an inspiration to His people to do His work.

If you plan to be a part of Light the Darkness 2022, contact Linda Thomas to let her know how you will participate and we will send you more resources to help your efforts.
