I am Called…are you?
We are honored to have captured the call stories of a number of first-generation shelter planters as an archive of the Anti-trafficking Movement.
There are many different types of services and postures of response needed at different points in the survivor’s healing trajectory. Whether it be to raise awareness through an outreach program, open a drop-in center or develop a residential program, the need is great, but right now, the workers are few. Are you being called to serve?
Read about the Institute for Shelter Care’s next generation of residential service providers on our Mentees page.
If you are feeling called to engage in the Anti-Human Trafficking Movement by providing therapeutic residential care for survivors, or for more information about our Shelter Mentoring Program, contact Kim Checkeye, kcheckeye@thesamaritanwomen.org
As you listen to the stories of those who are serving on the front lines, we pose this question: Are YOU being called?
