The Samaritan Church (TSC) is a gathering of impassioned folks who are committed to being a part of the transformational work of the Gospel in the lives of people on the streets. Our mission field is the Wilkens Avenue area of SW Baltimore, an area that has been devastated by drugs, poverty and crime.
TSC attracts urban ministers, social justice workers, street evangelists, and those who feel called to work in challenged situations, with people in desperate need. We aspire to live among the people we serve and build community. We do this by hosting weekly Bible Study, monthly block parties, food outreaches, van outreaches, clothing and backpack drives, big holiday celebrations and small spontaneous events. We want the Light of Christ shine even in the darkest places.
It may not be your calling to join us on the streets, but there is much you can do to support this vital ministry. Pray for our safety and our ministry.
