The Samaritan Women is a multi-faceted ministry that offers the opportunity for various levels of community engagement.  While we welcome all forms of time, talent, and treasure, it is our ambition to work with organizations and congregations to grow in their commitment to ministry. New groups may choose to be periodic volunteers at first, but as the relationship grows, it is our hope that together we would move into one of the following types of partnerships.

Service Partners

Service Partners include churches, social groups, clubs, etc. that have embraced the vision and mission of TSW and want to contribute to its work by providing a regular supply of volunteer labor. 

Service Partners assign a key contact who serves as liaison with TSW to coordinate their regular participation in volunteer activities.  We expect that Service Partners engage with TSW at least quarterly.

Support Partners

Support Partners are those organizations that have embraced the vision and mission of the organization and want to contribute to this work by making TSW a recipient of their financial support.  Support Partners may conduct their own fund-raising activities on TSW’s behalf or have agreed to make TSW a beneficiary of their congregational giving.  Financial support is in the form of unrestricted funds but may also include gifts in-kind.

Support Partners agree to a minimum annual financial investment.  The minimum commitment may also be exceeded through special activities or gifts in kind.  Support Partners’ commitment is realized either quarterly or monthly.

Ministry Partners

Ministry Partners are those congregations who not only embrace the vision and mission of TSW, but also want to be active participants in sustaining or expanding some aspect of this ministry.  Ministry Partners must be professing Christian organiations and be in harmony with our Statement of Faith and Values.

Ministry Partners assign a liaison who coordinates their ministry involvement with TSW and provides an annual evaluation and plans for expansion.  Ministry Partners will likely have a representative sit on one of our committees.  Ministry Partners make both a financial and labor commitment to TSW.
