PDF At least 40% percent of our annual operating expenses need to be supported by the generous giving of the community. While we work actively to secure grant funding, these economic times present a challenge for those foundations as well. The Samaritan Women is a public charity that does not receive Federal or State funding to support its operations.
- Individuals can make a recurring gift through automated bank deduction, or PayPal.
- Companies can add The Samaritan Women to your corporate giving program. Talk to us about this idea and how your employees can help.
- Congregations can adopt The Samaritan Women as one of your missions outlets and make a quarterly or annual tithing commitment
- Congregations, Schools, Universities or Service Groups can create their own fund-raising activity on our behalf

| Residence – Your donation will support our transitional residence and vocational training program that will serve both homeless female veterans and women rescued from signficant trauma, exploitation and trafficking. |
| Farm and Food Ministry – Your donation will help to expand our urban agricultural enterprise and our efforts to combat urban food deserts and nutritional poverty. |
| Social Justice Initiative Against Human Trafficking – Funds designated to anti-trafficking will support our going into congregations, schools, universities, youth groups and industry groups to raise awareness; to train care-givers, and to establish safe haven and therapeutic care facilities. |
| The Samaritan Church – Your donation will support our efforts to transform individual lives and revitalize the Wilkens Ave/Monroe Street neighborhood. |

If your heart calls you to donate in some more personal way to our residents, we have a long list of recurring needs. Do you have a special talent or service that might enrich the lives of these women? Perhaps you are a tutor, you know how to make homemade breads, you can teach self-defense, you have a powerful witness, you teach music, you can reupholster or sew, perhaps you are a beautician… the list goes on. We are always interested in introducing our residents to new things. Talk to us about the talent or skill you have to offer.
