Development
The Development Committee’s primary objective is to grow the visibility and financial stability of the organization. These are the business folks, who have a heart for the ministry, and also see the pragmatic necessity of having great relationships and the money needed to do the work. This committee oversees the marketing, public relations, and strategic relationships, as well as fund-raising activities and key financial partnerships. Members include:

Events
The Events Committee’s primary goal is to envision, define, and execute a number of public events that support the goals of the Development Committee. Their job is to draw people in to TSW and inspire them to become a part of this big work. These are the “party planners” and professional host/hostesses who make coming to TSW an amazing and memorable experience. Members include:

Property
The Property Committee is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficient operations of the grounds and buildings on the TSW estate. These are the “git er done” folks who have a passion for these historic buildings and the incredible landscape and want to make sure that everything works, the people are safe, and it looks great. The Property Committee attracts professional contractors and tradespersons, skilled craftsmen and hobbyists. Members include:

Farm & Food
The Farm & Food Committee’s mission is to grow healthy food and develop creative ways of introducing new foods to the urban palette. They are responsible for “what goes in the ground, and what comes out of the ground and what goes on the table.” They work closely with the Farm Manager, Greenhouse Manager and Property Committee to oversee farm operations and production.

Vocational Programs
We aspire to have a Vocational Program that will teach personal living and employable job skills in the areas of horitculture, culinary arts, and derivative food products. In other words, how to grow food, how to prepare and serve food, and how to create new food products (canning/preserving). The Vocational Programs Committee must first be about understanding sustainable work skills and the path to independence that comes from having a fulfilling and rewarding vocation. Their job is to create a program that will help each person realize success. Members include:

Residence Program
The Residence Program Committee’s purpose is to define, evaluate, and continually improve our therapeutic residential program for women. This committee includes those with specific health, medical, social work, clinical, spiritual, or counseling backgrounds, as well as those who have a heart to see broken women moved to wholeness. Their work is to create our program and ensure that it is meeting the needs of the women who will reside with us. Members include:

Security Advisory Committee
Our Residence and our Social Justice work require that we ensure safety for both those being served and those serving. We have formed a Security Advisory Committee to oversee physical and personnel security, as well as provide support for outreaches, events, and special projects. Members include:
